  1. Dennis Turenne was my uncle who unfortunately passed away before my children had a chance to meet him. It’s extremely important tht they learn, appreciate and respect the contributions made by himself and all military, past and present.

    • As a collector of RCAF items from ww2 I was lucky enough to acquire several original flight maps and a crew photo belonging to F/O Williamson the navigator in your uncle’s (F/Lt Turenne’s) crew. I am attempting to do a write up on your uncles crew and I would be very interested in any information you could share with me about him, especially any photos of him/his crew, as well as copies of his flying logbook entries, or any photos of surviving items such as his medals or uniforms. I would greatly appreciate it, but regardless I would be more than happy to share photos of the maps and the crew photo with you. All the best -Garrett

      • I don’t know if Andre Turenne will read this. Since he wrote a comment I still have an email address associated with this person. I will try to contact him. I hope his email address is still valid.

      • Hello Mr. Lapp.
There is a collection of memorabilia from my grandfather’s time with the royal canadian air force, most of which has been dispersed among family members. Although it is too sentimental to part with, I’m sure we could provide you with pictures and copies. I know where his logbook and medals are, as well as pictures, documents, etc…
Please contact me via email so that we may make arrangements.
        Benoit Turenne
