Tholthorpe – Revisited

Two RCAF squadrons, part of Bomber Group 6, were stationed at Tholthorpe during WWII. One squadron I know a lot about, and another one I know little about.

When I know nothing about something I just have to write about it. Writing about 425 Alouettes or Les Alouettes has led me to write about them on a blog I created in 2010.

This is post 292 on a blog that pays homage to Les Alouettes.

I wanted to show you these pictures but I guess I can’t write about them that much on this blog.

These pictures are from Marcel Baillargeon who was an air traffic controller at Tholthorpe.
I know little about Marcel Baillargeon.

Nothing much about him on the Internet except this.

This is part of Alan Soderstorm’s Website which pays homage to Sody. His uncle Sody was killed in the war. Alan pays homage to his uncle and 434 Squadron just like I pay homage to 425 Alouette.

So what about 420 Squadron?

I just had to do it…
